Call for Abstracts

  • ICARM 2025 invites high quality structured scientific abstracts from ART specialists, gynaecologists, senior residents (SR), post-graduate trainees (PGTs), clinical embryologists, trainee embryologists and ART laboratory scientists.

Come, showcase your research in front of leading clinicians and scientists from all over India at India’s premier IVF meeting!

Topics and Themes

  • Abstracts should fall under any of the following 12 thematic areas:
Male infertility
Female infertility & Reproductive endocrinology
Clinical Embryology
Andrology
Reproductive surgery
Minimal access fertility surgery
Care of ART pregnancies
Access to reproductive care
Counselling
Ethics in ART practice and research
Reproductive Genetics & Stem Cell Research
Reproductive Cryobiology

Word Count

  • Maximum 300 words (not including references) should be STRICTLY adhered to.

Format

  • Font: TNR 12, double spaced

References

  • Up to 3 references.
    Tables/graphs/images are not to be included in the abstract and will result in disqualification. They can be included in the presentation slides at the meeting.

Submission

  • Submit your abstract through the online portal available on the official website.
  • The last date for abstract submission is 15th October 2025, till 11:59 PM IST. All abstracts must be structured strictly in accordance with the guidelines provided below.

Review Results

  • Results of abstract review will be announced by return email by 31st Oct 2025.

Presentation

  • Selected abstracts have to be presented as a power-point presentation of 6+2 min duration (presentation + Q&A) in the free paper sessions held on 7th Dec 2025 at the meeting held at Biswa Bangla Convention Centre, New Town, Kolkata. Please bring the presentation in an USB stick and upload it in your respective hall at least 1 hour before your allotted presentation time.

Prizes

1st Prize: Rs 10,000

  • Attractive prizes for the best papers! Certificates of presentation will be awarded to all presenters with a selected abstract who present the paper themselves at the meeting. Presentations will be adjudged on the basis of scientific merit and rigour, implications for patient care, and quality of delivery.

Registration

  • All presenters need to be registered for the meeting. Early bird rate will be allowed to the presenting author of any abstract who registers by 7th Nov 2025.

Authorship

  • Post-graduate trainees in-training are required to have at least one co-author who is a faculty from their department under whose supervision the study was conducted and the abstract was prepared. This could be their thesis guide, head of unit, or any other faculty with direct supervision over the research work.

Publication

  • All selected abstracts will be peer reviewed and published in the conference book (ISBN/ISSN Number Applied).

Abstract Guidelines

It is MANDATORY to adhere to the following structure:
  • Title – concise, clear, with standard abbreviations only
  • Introduction – objectives & hypothesis
  • Methods & Materials – subjects, design, methods, statistics
  • Results – logical sequence
  • Conclusion – new & important aspects, limitations, future suggestions
  • References – up to 3, Vancouver style
Case Studies
  • Title – should be concise & to the point, clearly conveying the subject of the case
  • Case Description – should be concise within 300 words
Poster Guidelines
  • Printed poster in upright format (Portrait)
  • Dimensions 4ft (height)*3ft (Width)
  • Poster should be printer by themselves
  • They should reach 30 minutes prior.
